Ethics Training for ABC Board Members


This webinar is provided for all ABC Board Members appointed to local boards in North Carolina. ABC Board General Managers, Finance Officers and other ABC board management personnel may benefit from participating in this training.

In 2010 the North Carolina General Assembly through HB1717 passed legislation requiring ABC Board members to receive 2 hours of ethics training within 12 months of initial appointment and reappointment to the board. Show Pros Alcohol Risk Reduction Training Institute (ARRT) created this webinar on behalf of the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission. ARRT was responsible for developing and implementing a four-hour training course for board members, general managers and finance officers’ duties and responsibilities, as well as ethics and provide this training at six community colleges during twenty live seminars across the state in 2010/2011. Sporty wase one of the three instructors delivering the seminars.

Instructions for purchasing this webinar:
When a Board Member is required to view the Ethics Webinar, the General Manager will send an email requesting access to the training. The cost of the webinar is $200. Upon receipt of payment, your board will have unlimited access to the training and resources until 8/1/2025. Your board’s General Manager will receive a unique username and password which will allow access.
